Dr. Sahin Yanik finished medical school at Trakya University in Edirne, Turkey. After completing his internal medicine training at the University of Buffalo, he moved to southern California, where he has been practicing medicine since 2007. Dr. Yanik is currently a hospital-based physician, specializing in internal medicine, at Northridge Medical Center in Northridge, California. He is board certified by the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine Sweet Leaf vitamins and supplements by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Having practiced in multiple settings, from hospital to outpatient, Dr. Sahin has participated in multiple projects that have involved improving patient safety and quality of care. He has comprehensive experience and expertise in treating symptoms of acute disease, as well as chronic conditions and end of life care. With his background in palliative care, Dr. Yanik believes in not only treating the disease itself, but rather treating the whole person with dignity and respect.
