Can Amazon Dropshipping Be Automated?

I’m planning to try dropshipping on Amazon, but the amount of routine work is making me hesitate. I don’t want every sale to turn into checking the supplier again, placing the order, waiting for the tracking number, and then updating everything on Amazon by hand. That might be manageable with a couple of orders, but it’ll eat up the whole day once the catalog grows. What parts of Amazon dropshipping can be automated without losing control of the store?
