Lately, I’ve been debating whether buying followers would hurt my brand image. I run a small skincare page, and sometimes it feels like no one takes you seriously until you have a decent number of followers. But I’m worried people might notice if those followers aren’t real or active and lose trust in my brand. Do audiences actually care about that, or do they just look at the overall impression of the page?

I’ve seen a lot of creators use a mix of organic and paid strategies early on, and their followers rarely seem to care as long as the content adds value. Most people scroll fast and don’t analyze follower lists — they judge based on tone, visuals, and consistency. Trust tends to grow from personality and engagement rather than just numbers on the screen.
