I have several Outlook PST archives that I need to organize into individual email files. My requirement is to convert the mailbox data into EML format because it is easier to manage individual messages and access them through different supported email applications.
Currently, all my emails are stored in a few large PST files. Searching for a particular conversation or sharing individual messages has become inconvenient. I want a solution that can export the required emails without manually saving each message from Outlook.
While comparing different conversion methods, I found the MacSonik PST Converter Tool. It supports PST-to-EML conversion and provides an option to preview mailbox items before exporting them.
I am interested in knowing whether the software preserves important email properties, including sender, recipient, subject, date, and attachments. Another concern is whether it can maintain folder-based organization when converting messages into separate EML files.
Has anyone used this approach for organizing old Outlook archives? I would appreciate practical suggestions about converting large PST files into EML format and managing the resulting individual email files efficiently.
