How do I transfer selected PST emails instead of migrating the entire mailbox?
#1
I am working with several Outlook PST archives, but I don't need to transfer every email from them. Some mailboxes contain years of conversations, whereas I only need messages related to specific projects and clients. Transferring everything would consume unnecessary storage and make the destination mailbox difficult to organize.
I am looking for a method that allows me to select particular folders or emails before exporting them. A date-based selection option would also be helpful because I only need correspondence from a specific period.
During my research, I found the MacSonik PST Converter Tool, which offers options for previewing mailbox content and applying filters before conversion. The ability to select specific folders and use date-range filtering seems useful for this type of requirement.
However, I want to confirm whether selecting particular mailbox items affects the original PST file. I would also like to know whether attachments and email formatting remain intact when only selected messages are exported.
Has anyone used the MacSonik PST Converter Tool for selective email conversion? I would appreciate practical feedback about its filtering options, especially when working with multiple PST archives containing large amounts of unnecessary email data.
