I want to ask if anyone here has done an online marriage in Pakistan. I heard it’s getting popular now, especially for people who live outside the country or can’t travel. I know it’s legal if you have a registered Nikah Khawan and witnesses, but I don’t fully understand how the papers work after that.
Do you still need to go to the union council to get the NADRA marriage certificate, or can it all be done online? I saw a service called Nikah Wala that helps with this, but I don’t know if it’s smooth or takes a long time.
If you or someone you know had an online nikah, can you please share how it went? Was it easy or stressful? Any tips for people who are thinking about doing it?
