Has anyone else here tried third-party tools for Exchange migration? I’d be curious to know what worked (or didn’t) for you.

I’ve been working on migrating mailboxes from an On-Premises Exchange Server (mix of 2013 & 2016) to a newer setup, and honestly, the manual methods have been a nightmare. Some of the biggest problems I ran into were:
- Downtime and user complaints during migration
 - Large mailboxes hitting limits and failing mid-transfer
 - Public folders losing hierarchy
 - Too much dependency on PowerShell scripts (one wrong command and it’s chaos)
 - No straightforward way to handle cross-version migrations without doing multiple hops

Eventually, I gave Shoviv Exchange Migration Tool a try, and it solved most of these headaches:
- Migrated directly from older Exchange versions to newer ones without double-hop
 - No downtime since it supports incremental migration
 - Preserved all hierarchy, metadata, permissions, and attachments
 - Easy to handle bulk mailbox migration with a simple GUI (no endless scripting)
 - If a migration gets interrupted, it resumes right where it left off
