Hello! I am planning a move to the Hollywood/Miami area and I’m searching for flight instructor jobs in Florida. I want to find a school that is busy enough to keep me flying at least 80-100 hours a month.
I found Pelican Flight Training online, and they seem to be running a massive anniversary promotion right now ($15k off for students), which usually means a big influx of new trainees. Since they handle both airplanes and helicopters, I’m wondering if they are looking for dual-rated instructors or if they keep the departments separate.
They are accredited by ACCSC and have a really professional setup from what I can see on their website. Does anyone have the inside scoop on their instructor pay or the culture at North Perry? I’m trying to narrow down my applications to the most reliable flight training centers in the region.
